For more than 6 years, Amped4Life has supported Schools, Industry and Community to provide meaningful solutions to substance use and addiction problems. Programs for children and youth are an essential component of our services. Amped4Life works in collaboration with schools to deliver specialized services that reflect the needs of the community and the experience of children and youth.
Together, New Zealand schools and Amped4Life can help students discover and extend their own capabilities, as well as develop supportive relationships and healthy environments. Amped4life is committed to imparting life skills and giving young people tools that will empower them to make healthy and informed choices for life. These motivational and challenging presentations include all aspects of hauora [well being] and are a preventative approach to many issues that our teenage generations face.
Amped4life provides health and life skills programmes which educate and equip high school students. Amped4Life utilizes a variety of mediums to communicate its powerful message that 'Your Life Counts' to compliment the positive things young people are already receiving. Amped4life works in partnership with health teachers and the curriculum already provided. Amped delivers dynamic presentations, distinct and unique which are shared by educators who understand the struggles of the adolescent years and are powerful and sobering and yet humorous in content as well as the wealth of information they provide. Support comprehensive and co-ordinated approaches that include prevention, education, and treatment in addressing issues regarding alcohol and other drugs.
