We support familes of children with BWS, provide education to medical professionals and interested people. We have been creating a NZ database of affected people. A key role is liasing with organisations in the US.
Winning a donation from Sovereign will help us achieve:
We get very little funding so firstly any donations are applied to daily running costs. We would dearly love to send at least one family to a conference and clinic in the USA next year. We would also love to purchase a vehicle to assist in transporting people around to medical appointments etc and to be able to travel further in NZ to meet families and medical professionals. We do a lot of travelling and it is mainly self funded.
