Each year, thanks to the generous support of volunteers and donors, we deliver fun programmes including week-long summer camps, family days, reunion days, mini camps and social outings.
More than 750 volunteers help make our summer camps a safe and fun experience for the 300 children who attend every year.
Each child is also provided a one-on-one trained companion, a 24 hour buddy, to look out for them and make sure they have a wonderful time.
We operate in five regions across the country including Auckland/Northland, Waikato/BOP, Wellington/Central Districts, Christchurch and South.
At Camp Quality, we passionately believe in the power of fun to help children and their families overcome the challenges cancer brings.
Winning a donation from Sovereign will help us achieve:
Each year, at a cost of more than $550,000, we deliver week-long summer camps to children living with cancer and year-round quality support to their families.
Our camps provide a safe place for children who have been afflicted with cancer to have fun in a stress-free and caring environment. Families are able to have a break knowing their child is in the safe hands of Camp Quality NZ staff.
All Camp Quality NZ camps and activities are provided at no cost to families. We are a totally voluntary organisation that receives no government funding. Camp Quality NZ relies totally on the generous support of donors to meet our costs.
