We help kids to be kids. We assist special needs and disadvantaged NZ children by brightening up their day, giving them something they've never had a chance to do, and helping them to have fun and just enjoy being kids. We work alongside other NZ charities, like NZ Down Syndrome, Koru Care and Ronald McDonald House and help to grant wishes for kids who would never dream of having a wish come true - like a ride in a V8 supercar, or a coffee with their favourite Shortland Street actor.
As well as "Grant a Wish" we also professionally produce live pantomimes through our programme 'Kids In Show Seats' (KISS). For 17 years we have been running live stage shows like Snow White, and covering all the costs so that special needs and disadvantaged children can come along and share the magic. We fundraise to pay the costs of our special events by using our telemarketing centre, allowing the kids to attend for free.

Our pantomime costumes have been well-loved, are well-used and have brought happiness to thousands of kids season after season. But they are in desperate need of replacement and repair, and are an important component of our stage shows. It's quite an investment to purchase new costumes but the good news is that they will last for many seasons and will be part of a fantastic wardrobe for many shows in the future.
