Our Programmes
The Young Enterprise Scheme is a learning experience for young people in which secondary school students form a company; become directors; develop products and services, which they market and sell. Yes is school based and teaches skills in budgeting, planning, interpersonal relations, decision making, reporting, communications; risk management and teamwork.
The Student Enterprise Learning Link Programme is a three-day practical business education programme where Year 10 and 11 students form national companies, research and decide on a good or service, write a business plan and launch it in an oral presentation and business expo.
Financial Education is designed to develop a financially literate person. The programmes and activities raise awareness and provide practical opportunities for students to take part in financial decision-making, and develop money management capability.
Enterprise Studies is an innovative, action based programme with over 9,000 graduates each year. ESP targets the junior secondary school, and takes an experiential approach to learning, involving the students in the development of their own enterprising projects with a focus on their local community.
On the Primary Enterprise Programme, students learn through planning and operating their own society. The process challenges students to set up a range of ventures, compile a business plan, and make and sell a range of goods and services on market day. Students earn an income from their work, enjoy being consumers on market day and solve problems that arise in their society by managing risk and taking ownership.
Business for Kids is an educational holiday programme for Year 5-8 students. For one week the programme challenges students to run their own economy by creating jobs, earning incomes, running business ventures, and buying and selling on market day.
