The main activity of Family education Network is to deliver an established preventative lifeskills programme focussed on helping today's youth make informed choices about their sexual health and social activity. Delivered by trained youth presenters to an average of 5000 youth per year in year 9 and 10 health classes, the programme was part funded by the government until recent budget cuts. Using an interactive format, YrChoice seeks to assist youth in evaluating the risks of sexual involvement, form their own values, and equip them with the skills to resist the social, media and peer pressures placed upon them. The delivery of the programme by youth with whom the students readily identify is a major factor in the effectiveness of YrChoice - setting it apart for the content delivered by health teachers.

Donated funds would be invested in administrative costs including training, programme development and production of resources associated with delivering the YrChoice programme.
