We teach children that they are special. The Life Education Trust is taking positive steps. The programme does not necessarily work on changing children's behaviour; it works on changing desires. We do this by taking children on an adventure in a mobile classroom that is equipped with sophisticated technologies to capture children's imaginations and create a wow-factor.
In 2000 BC Horace said "new vessels will for long retain the taste of what is first poured into them." Our objective is to provide young people in their formative years with an awareness and understanding of their incredible body. We teach them how it functions and why the body is affected by substances that upset its delicate equilibrium. We use positive, dynamic messages conveyed nonjudgmentally to encourage children to make informed decisions about what goes into their bodies. Our 19 learning modules are often tailored to meet a school's needs. Visits can be part of a school-wide health initiative that is supported by preparation and follow-up work done by the school and information that goes to parents.

All donations will go directly to upgrading the resources and equipment we use when teaching the children. Life Education operates 41 mobile classrooms across NZ. Each mobile has a trained primary school teacher we call an educator. All donations would go towards teaching resources (there are 19 different learning modules schools choose from) for our educators to use in their mobile classrooms.
