For a young child, losing a parent to a terminal illness is devastating. Yet, while there are support networks for sick children and their siblings, those children whose parents and caregivers have become ill with cancer have been without assistance.

Lisa Knapman-Smith battled aggressive breast cancer, but her concern was always with her children. Her wish was to set up a Trust that acknowledges the effect that a parent's illness has on their children, helping them through this difficult period in their lives through contact with their peers, scholarships and emotional support.

The Trust will assist children with focusing on fun, health and emotional wellbeing through comradeship and communication with peers facing similar challenges. Our projects will be flexible, meeting the diverse needs of affected children through activity camps, one-on-one telecommunication support and scholarships to make a few very special wishes come true.

You can help. Join us to create a network of special people and organizations working together to support these children.

Winning a donation from Sovereign will help us achieve:

Let's get started! Winning $15,000 from Sovereign will get the support going - providing the first scholarship, spring boarding the first camp and at last bringing these children together to gain strength from shared experiences.
