Pregnancy Help is a national organisation providing information, support and assistance to pregnant and recently pregnant women and their family/whanau. Our services are provided with Care, Concern and Confidentiality and people are welcome to contact us whatever their circumstances. Our team of volunteers and paid support staff deliver a broad range of services, including phone support, provision of baby equipment and clothing and referral to other appropriate agencies. Additional services such as pregnancy tests, qualified counselling, drop in centers and birthing and parenting programmes are available at some of our branches. Pregnancy Help services complement the work of health professionals such as Doctors, Midwives, Plunket Nurses and Social Workers by provding totally free support, practical help and guidance to thousands of New Zealand individuals and families every year.

Our vision is to see all babies have the best start possible with a warm bed and clothing with which to begin their lives. As well as appropriate support and information for parents to encourage them to do the best they can when caring for their children. We consider the earlier this type of intervention and support is put in place the better the potential long term outcomes are. If we were to win a donation we would purchase welfare items for the benefit of our clients babies. Such items being basinettes, blankets, clothing, nappies, bedding items and wool.
