We currently have a membership base of 550 families in Auckland and 50 families in Christchurch. We network with numerous support groups, special schools, service providers (in both the disability and recreation sectors) and other community organisations. We provide programmes such as Youth Adventure camps, Youth Adventure Weekends, Youth Getaway weekends (throughtout New Zealand), Holiday Programmes, Junior Camps 7-12yrs (*NEW due to public need), Urban Youth Club (held fortnightly), Father and Son events, Day activities and Mothers Retreat weekends. A Sovereign Sunshine donation would help in three ways, to: 1. reduce the cost to caregivers and encourage even more participation, 2. offer more programmes to the 7 - 12 year old age group, and 3. extend our service to other centres in New Zealand.
