SIDS New Zealand Incorporated is a national organisation established to provide services for families and communities who have had children of any age die suddenly and/or unexpectedly of any cause including SIDS.
Our Aims:
To support, represent and advocate for parents and families who have suffered the death of a child of any age or a sudden infant death and require or use respiratory monitors.
To provide up to date information and resources to these parents and families.
To provide support, training, education and other services to parents, families, volunteers, professional health workers, support services and other community groups from the perspective of both the parents and SIDS New Zealand.
To liase with and support parent support groups and the other people in the community working with SIDS and child loss.
To co-ordinate public awareness campaigns.
