Team Xtreme is a Youth Development organisation, with trained and skilled facilitators who effectively communicate with 11-17 year olds. In 2008 we are presenting new innovative youth development programmes, including large group programmes, as well as one to one mentoring programmes.
The team was launched in the Hutt Valley in February 2000 with the vision to see the regions youth equipped with the life skills necessary to help them make good decisions for themselves and their future.
Team Xtreme aims, through supporting students, schools and families of our local community, to positively invest in the future of New Zealand. We endeavour to build greater self confidence amongst young people by promoting positive values to our youth.
Our three-fold focus is;
- Young People are encouraged to realise their potential as unique individuals, building their self confidence and self worth;
- Become aware of issues contributing to their health and wellbeing; challenge their own values, attitudes and actions affecting their personal health and the health of those around them and learn to make constructive choices and confident decisions
- The young people contribute positively to their families, then families to friends, and then having a positive effect to the wider community.
Team Xtreme Wellington is operated by Te Waipuna Trust.

- training and development of our youth workers to ensure best practice,

- our evaluation processes
