The First Tee delivers a lifeskills curriculum to children between 7 and 17 years of age, engaging them through the game of golf.
Mission: To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and education programmes that promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf. We have been operating in East Tamaki since 2005 and offer programming at several other Auckland locations as well as two locations in Christchurch.
Our objective is to offer this great program to children around New Zealand, with 12 programming affiliates within the next five years.
Winning a donation from Sovereign will help us achieve:
Funding would be applied to setting up a new First Tee chapter, providing professional coaching, equipment and teaching materials support
