Volunteers are wanted at many locations across New Zealand

Right now , we need fun, enthusiastic leaders from all backgrounds to help teach our girls a thing or two about life.

We’re also looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours here and there to provide support to our GirlGuiding leaders.

There are four sections for girls within GirlGuiding:

Pippins 5-6 years
Brownies 7 – 9½ years
Guides 9½ years to Year 9
Rangers Year 9 – 18 years

If you’re good fun, arty, sporty or you just want to share your life skills to help girls and young women grow to become the best they can be, we’d love to hear from you.

Maybe you love working with numbers.  Maybe you’re really clever with computers.  Or maybe you’re a fantastic organiser and just keen to help.

Being a GirlGuide volunteer isn’t for life – although the friendships often are!  It only requires some of your time each week. 

For leaders, our learning and development programme can be treated as part of your own professional development and the personal rewards are priceless.
