February’s six shortlisted charities to receive a share of $10,000

Thanks to the new donation structure and your votes, all six charities shortlisted in February will receive a donation. $10,000 has been divided between the six charities according to the proportion of the vote they received.  In addition to this, the winning charity received an additional $5675.84, from funds raised by Sovereign staff on Sunshine Day (10 March) and matched by Sovereign.

Congratulations to the charities below, who will receive the following donations:

Children's Autism Foundation - 35% = $3,505.70 (and also received an additional Sunshine Day donation of $5675.84 on 10 March)
Homes of Hope Charitable Trust - 17% = $1,735.74
Epilepsy Association of New Zealand Inc. - 15% = $1,475.29
Father and Child Trust - 12% = $1,247.15
Parents Centres New Zealand Incorporated - 10% = $1,026.62
Child Poverty Action Group - 10% = $1,009.51

Congratulations to Belinda Whitehead from Wellington who won the Weekend Getaway Pack.  She simply voted for her favourite featured charity in February, and was drawn as the random winner!
