Starship Mobile Phone Recycling Appeal. Do Something Good with a Mobile Phone!

News43

Starship Foundation can now help you safely dispose of your redundant mobile phones while helping care for our kids. But the best part is that it's so easy!  All you have to do is pick up one of our ParcelPost Returns Freepost envelopes from any branch of ASB Bank , Barfoot & Thompson , Telecom, The Warehouse or Warehouse Stationery or Vodafone. Pop in your old phone, mail it to us and you're done. Envelopes are also regularly inserted into national newspapers and magazines

Telecom NZ, Vodafone and 2degrees all have mobile phone drop off points in their stores.

We are happy to receive any make and model of mobile phone regardless of condition. Phones in working order are refurbished and exported to places such as Hong Kong, China or to Eastern Europe, while those beyond repair are recycled through the correct environmental channels.

If you have a large quantity of phones to send in, simply package them in a box and download a Freepost label from www.starship.org.nz/phone.  Please ensure that you remove the battery and wrap it separately before sending it back to us. Remember to keep hold of your SIM card as we can't return any phones or SIM cards once they are donated.
