Five other charities from March also received a share from the $10,000 donations, determined by the final vote count

- Girls’ Brigade New Zealand Incorporated - $1,000
- Storylines Children’s Literature Charitable Trust of New Zealand - $900
- All Stars Kids Club - $900
- Hibiscus Coast Community House - $400
We raised money on our Sunshine Day on 14th April by baking and selling delicious morning tea treats prepared by our Workplace and Actuarial chefs, and holding raffles and tombola prize draws. The funds raised by staff were matched by Sovereign. Tina and Lizzie from North Shore Riding for the Disabled visited us at Smales Farm at lunch time, and told us about the 54 groups across New Zealand, the 3,000 riders, and the huge team of 1500 volunteers who make the programmes possible. We’re proud that our donations will help train the volunteers across the country who lead the therapy for the children.
